Job Summary:
The Gastroenterology Clinical Nurse Specialist/Specialist Nurse (CNS) provides clinical expertise to all the relevant departmental teams. You will be responsible and accountable for your own practice within the clinical area and for delivering a quality service to all stakeholders across LOC and The Harley Street Clinic.
Salary: Competitive
Full time: 37.35 hours per week
Skills and Experience
- NMC registered Nurse
- Post-basic qualification in clinical specialty related to practice area.
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Relevant post registration experience in gastroenterology and colorectal nursing
- Experience of multi-professional working
- Experience of teaching
- Good communications skills
- Ability to support and influence change
- Ability to impart complex information to patients, relatives and carers, with different levels of understanding
- Ability to build up a rapport with patients and the MDT
