We are currently Recruiting internally for a Staff Nurse based @ the Golders Green Outpatients and Diagnostics Centre, located in North West London,  NW11 9PY . We treat a wide range of conditions from the routine to complex and acute cases, including cancer as well as gastrointestinal and cardiac problems.

Developed and supported by The Wellington Hospital, the Diagnostic centre sees both adults and children benefiting from the expertise of our leading consultants and multi-disciplinary team. Our extensive skills and specialties, combined with onsite diagnostic testing, always ensures that our patients are offered a quick, accurate and caring service

Job Description

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible and accountable for the assessment of required care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of holistic care for children on our Outpatients Diagnostic Centre.

This is a full time (37.5 hours per week) permanent post (Shifts: Mon – Fri & Sundays)

The projected salary range is:  £33,000-£36,708 (Dependent on Skills & Experience) per annum + 4% Shift enhancement, pension scheme and more attractive flexible benefits

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, assess, implement and evaluate programmes of care for individual patients and to supervise junior staff in this activity.
  • Ensure an ongoing welcoming, caring and safe environment is provided for all patients and their families.
  • Develop and maintain clinical skills and knowledge necessary to provide holistic, evidence based nursing care.
  • Carry out observations, investigations and treatments as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Registered General Nurse.
  • Post registration outpatients experience desirable.
  • Phlebotomy training and knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures desirable.
  • Motivated and forward-thinking individual with excellent communication skills.
