We are looking to appoint 2 applicants to 2 full time residential roles of Nurse Matron working in our Boarding Houses and Medical Centre. Together with the house team, the Nurse Matron will share in providing the care for the pastoral welfare of the boarders in the school and provide cover in the Medical Centre during the working day
They will assist the Housemistress in the smooth running of the House and cover duties in the Medical Centre where 2 qualified nurses have part-time duties.
The successful candidate will have Nursing experience and/or qualifications.
They will be caring, positive and conscientious with a good sense of humour, flexibility, stamina and attention to detail.

No previous school experience is required but empathy for the needs of teenage girls is essential. This post would suit someone with experience in a nursing environment who is interested in developing their career in schools, social care or further nursing.
This is a full–time post, working term-time only with an associated salary in the region of £25,000 p.a. The post is initially fixed for one year with a possibility to extend.
