Our client is a Catholic independent boarding and day School for 400 girls aged 11-18 years, set in 75 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside, less than 50 miles from London, 40 minutes from Gatwick and 15 minutes from the charming historic town of Tunbridge Wells. 

They are looking for a RGN to join their School Health Centre to support the delivery of healthcare in the School.  Reporting to the Senior Nurse, the successful applicant will work predominantly on an on-call basis outside of normal School hours but will spend at least half a day every week working within our Health Centre building relationships with both staff and pupils.  Whilst on-call the Nurse will be expected to provide guidance to Boarding Staff and to attend School when required.

Applicants will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience. They will be flexible, adaptable and pro-active with a genuine interest in the issues that affect children. Applicants should demonstrate an aptitude for building trust and confidence amongst others and be calm under pressure.

This position is term-time only (33 weeks per year) with salary dependent on experience. Candidates should be aware that this role requires night and weekend working on-call.
