Our Client is an independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11 to 18. Founded in 1853, the College has been at the forefront of girls' education for over 150 years and has a worldwide reputation for academic excellence.

In this role, you will join a team of nurses in their on-site Medical Centre caring for 668 boarders and 172-day girls.  They have 11 in-patient beds, operating 24/7 during term time and they play an integral role in all aspects of the girls’ health and wellbeing. Their nurses work closely with the Overton Park GP surgery to provide a full practice nurse lead service as well as facilitating a GP clinic five days a week.  You should have a good general nursing background; primary or emergency care is an advantage but not essential.  In addition, you must be able to work with children and young people and be adaptable in your approach to working. 

The prorated salary for this role is £24,860, based on an annual basic FTE salary of £32,112.

Prorated Additional payments are made for overnight duties.  The hours will be 30 hours per week on a fixed term contract of six months to include overnight and weekend shifts.  The exact work pattern will be discussed at interview.  Closing date for receipt of applications is 9 October 2020.  Interviews will take place w/c 19 October 2020.
