About Brentwood Hospital Our modern, well-equipped hospital provides a range of services and treatments from outpatients and minor procedures through to inpatients and major surgical specialties. Hospital facilities include 42 beds, 4 Theatres, an Endoscopy Suite, 16 consulting rooms, MRI, CT, General Imaging, Pathology, Physiotherapy and an onsite Pharmacy. We are established as one of the leading providers of healthcare in the area and have just completed a major refurbishment of the Endoscopy Unit.

  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload - within the department, on the ward and in theatre.

  • Working with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment and facilities.

  • As a clinical lead, you will enjoy scoping to develop policies and procedures.

  • Supervising and developing more junior staff members.

  • Providing a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

The Person

To succeed as a Radiographer you will have;

  • High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.

  • A caring nature - to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.

  • A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

  • A postgraduate qualification in an area of specialization.

  • Radiation Protection Supervisor training and/ or qualification are desirable.

  • Post registration experience relevant to the role.

  • Excellent communication and team working abilities.

  • CT experience is required.

Salary - Depending on experience
Location - Brentwood
Hours - Part time, 28 hours per week
