Job Details
We are expecting to receive the Covid-19 vaccine very soon. When it becomes available, it will be our best defence against the virus alongside effective social distancing, wearing a mask and washing your hands. It will also be key to life returning to normal and doing all the things we miss.
Vaccinating as many Londoners as quickly as possible will require your help.
We are looking for healthcare professionals from across the capital. You may already have experience of delivering a vaccine to people, or you may be willing to be trained. We are also looking for qualified allied health professionals, pharmacy and dental professionals, healthcare scientists, as well as people with first aid qualifications. We are also looking for people to fill important non-clinical roles.
Where possible, we will seek to ensure paid roles are offered on a flexible basis, including outside of usual working hours to fit in with your other responsibilities. You will be offered appropriate training, supervision and PPE will be provided to ensure your safety, and the safety of others.
These roles are anticipated to start from December 2020. But if December feels too soon for you, please let us know when you would be available to start.
The COVID-19 Vaccination Programme Vaccinator will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations. The post holder will be responsible for administering the vaccine to citizens within a team of staff working in a pod structure as part of the mass vaccination delivery model.
