We are an experienced provider, having delivered GP led services since 2008 including, NHS111, GP Out of Hours, an APMS GP practice, Extended Access, an Urgent Treatment Centre, a Minor Injuries Unit and an Acute Visiting Service.

We are a nationally recognised NHS partner, providing Integrated Urgent Care Services to over 3 million patients, via the single-entry point of NHS111, this also includes access to Out of Hours Dental Advice and GP telephone cover.

We deliver services across a number of geographical locations and systems, working closely with health, social care and community service providers. We are proactive in developing solutions to support both primary and urgent care, regularly piloting new ideas and initiatives to support patient flow, admission avoidance and better access.

Company

HUC provides healthcare services across a number of counties in the East of England, including Luton & Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, Hertfordshire and West Essex.

Our mission is to provide a local, clinically-led range of services, giving patients 24/7/365 urgent care access in an Out-of-Hospital environment. Putting the patient at the start and heart of our care.

When patients require healthcare advice or need to speak with a healthcare professional, patients can phone the NHS 111 service provided by HUC to access medical advice, assessment and treatment. We also provide a range of other healthcare services to support patients and GPs, including GP surgery services and urgent care centres. This means we have an incredible variety of roles available for nurses, including working in our NHS 111 contact centres as clinical advisors, telephone triage/consultation clinicians, or face-to-face in our integrated urgent care service and general practice settings.

Our success is built on the strength of our teams. We offer a wide range of educational opportunities for clinicians, flexible roles and our team and community spirit will be hard to find elsewhere.

We are looking for registered Adult and Children nurses to join us. So, if you want to join a great team, make a difference to the community and patients’ lives, apply today!
