We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent RMN to join our friendly team at The Manor Clinic in Southampton – Rated ‘OUTSTANDING’ for caring by CQC in our last inspection. The post will be to predominantly work nights, however there is opportunity to work overtime also on days. About Us

The Manor Clinic is a specialist inpatient private addictions unit, treating up to 13 residents both within a structured ‘28 day’ programme and shorter periods for medically assisted withdrawals. The clinic’s approach is modelled around the 12 Step programme, providing residents the opportunity to engage in this model of abstinence, while being supported on wider behavioral aspects of addiction. The clinic have a strong drive for recovery, offering clients life-time access to an aftercare package that includes fun alumni events such as yearly BBQ’s which staff also attend.

What we ask for:
  • Proactive nature in ensuring workload is completed in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring handovers are thorough between both clinical and therapy team
  • A positive and motivational approach and attitude to working and problem solving
  • Leadership qualities that enable you to effectively manage your shift and junior colleagues throughout the day
  • Person-centered approach to care planning
  • Ability to understand and formulate risk
  • A desire to put patients first, with a genuine interest in helping others
  • A basic understanding of addiction and management of substance withdrawal
