ABOUT THE ROLE

An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as a Hairdresser will be spent getting to know our residents so you can maximise their wellbeing and social engagement. This role would suit a part-time or self-employed hairdresser who can manage the needs of our residents around their usual working patterns. Applicants must only work for Barchester Healthcare and not actively work at any other locations at present, due to restrictions around Covid 19 and Single Site working. This is to ensure we minimise risk to our residents at this time.

ABOUT YOU
You’ll need to be friendly, approachable and enjoy conversation to join us as a Hairdresser at Barchester. Playing an essential role in maintaining our residents’ sense of independence, fulfilment and choice, you hold a relevant hairdressing qualification and have experience of working as a hairdresser. Ideally you’ll also have experience of providing hairdressing services for older people.

You will advise residents about their hair, styling and scalp treatments and confidently work to a professional standard. Your organisational skills and attention to detail ensure the salon, your work areas and equipment are all kept clean, tidy and well presented.

This role can offer flexible hours and is ideal for someone who is a self employed stylist.
