Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics

Location – The Harley Street Clinic, London 

Permanent and Full time – 37.5 Hours per week 

Salary - £41,102 to £46,000 (depending on experience) + 4% Shift Enhancement + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development) 

About the Role 

We have a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics at The Harley Street Clinic. The role will play a vital role in delivering on expert patient care.  

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner working in our Theatre Team, you will be working as part of a team to ensure a high standard of nursing care and safety for patients within the theatre unit. In addition to this, you will be accountable for providing high quality clinical assistance to the Anaesthetist during surgical procedures 

Senior Theatre Practitioner duties will include undertaking extended roles such as demonstrating good clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own actions, preparing patients for clinical/ operative procedures, both in anaesthetics and surgery. As the Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics, you will bear responsibility for maintaining the safe custody and handling of drugs in accordance with hospital policy and provide initial emergency care as required 

Skills & Experience: 

• Registered Nurse/ODP 

• Extensive demonstrable experience within a similar role 

• Anaesthetics course
