Job Details

As a Senior Nursing Manager, the post holder will work as leader of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations.

The post holder will be responsible for clinical oversight of multiple vaccination and post-vaccination observation pods within a mass vaccination site and will be part of a team of matrons working across the centre.

A Registered Nurse who is educated to a graduate or equivalent level of experience and working at a senior level in specialist area, and with considerable experience of working at management level within the NHS.

Shape your story and help London return to normal

We are expecting to receive the Covid-19 vaccine very soon. When it becomes available, it will be our best defence against the virus alongside effective social distancing, wearing a mask and washing your hands. It will also be key to life returning to normal and doing all the things we miss.

Vaccinating as many Londoners as quickly as possible will require your help.

We are looking for healthcare professionals from across the capital. You may already have experience of delivering a vaccine to people, or you may be willing to be trained. We are also looking for qualified allied health professionals, pharmacy and dental professionals, healthcare scientists, as well as people with first aid qualifications. We are also looking for people to fill important non-clinical roles.

Where possible we will seek to ensure paid roles are offered on a flexible basis, including outside of usual working hours to fit in with your other responsibilities. You will be offered appropriate training, supervision and PPE will be provided to ensure your safety, and the safety of others.

These roles are anticipated to start from December 2020. But if December feels too soon for you, please let us know when you would be available to start.
