School Nurse (RGN) – Ascot, Berkshire

Term Time Only (34 weeks)

FTE - £38,500 - £44,500 per annum (dependent on experience)

Our client is a leading boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18 years, providing girls with a first class education in beautiful surroundings with an unrivalled level of continuity of care and pastoral support.

They are looking to recruit a Registered General Nurse to join the friendly nursing team in the school’s Medical Centre.  The successful candidate will need to be a confident, flexible, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative.

The successful candidate will assist in providing 24-hour health care and advice along with emergency treatment as and when necessary, to students aged 11-18 years.  The nurse will workday shifts and on call night duty as part of the team’s shift roster.  The on-call night duty flat is available when the nurse is not attending to pupils patients.

Hours: Hours are based on a rota comprising 2 x 24 hour shifts per week including weekends and overnight stays.
