Norfolk Needs You!

Team NNUH and the acute care system in Norfolk are gearing up to deal with the second wave of the Covid 19 pandemic. We have highly developed plans to deliver high dependency and quality intensive care to our patients utilising the right skills in the right place.

We are asking staff to come forward and support our existing teams to deliver that care. If you have previous experience of working as a Registered Nurse in an acute setting or similar; we’d love to hear from you as soon as possible.

We are seeking the following skills:

  • Medication administration
  • IV administration
  • Experience of working with acute patients

We have training facilities set up to refresh your essential clinical skills and temporary professional registers are being established to support your return to practice. The rules around pensions have also been relaxed for those who have retired from the NHS and are in receipt of an NHS pension.

Applicants should be aware that this role is likely to sit within parts of the hospital that responds to Covid-19 (Coronavirus) patient care and as such there will be a requirement to follow the relevant risk management associated with working in these areas.
