ABOUT THE ROLE

Castle Rise Care Home is part of Barchester’s complex care division, providing support to 36 residents with a variety of needs. In our homely environment, you will provide exceptional clinical leadership to an established team of nurses who care for younger adults with acquired brain injuries as well as older people who need support. You will be encouraged to develop you clinical and managerial practice, with opportunities to progress within a supportive environment.
NEED TO HAVE
• RMN/RGN qualification and current NMC PIN
• 2 years’ leadership experience
• Successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
NEED TO KNOW
• HR related knowledge
• Sales, marketing, and budget management
• Sound clinical knowledge and mentor experience
NEED TO DO
• Manage a team of clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional care
• Provide mentorship to newly qualified staff
• Provide front line care and advice to residents and their families
• Market the home in the local community
• Support the General Manager to manage budgets and ensure delivery of financial targets
• Monitor care standards ensuring compliance with company standards as well as external frameworks
