- Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Manager, Practice Nurse
Parkbury House Surgery is recruiting a Lead Nurse to join our dynamic practice. We would also be interested in hearing from candidates that would like to grow into this role.
The Lead Nurse will lead and manage the nursing team, working closely with the GP Partners and practice manager to deliver the practice priorities. Clinically, the focus of the role is the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients with acute and chronic conditions and management and preventative nursing interventions to all patients. You will work collaboratively with the whole general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery and procedures and providing leadership and direction for the nursing team.
As an autonomous practitioner the nurse is responsible for the care delivered, demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision-making. We would like to hear from candidates who are qualified nurse practitioners or would consider working towards becoming a nurse practitioner.
Parkbury House Surgery is a forward thinking and innovative practice with over 21,000 patients across two sites. We are part of Alban Healthcare PCN and STAHFED federation. We have 8 partners who lead a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and first contact physiotherapists. We have a supportive admin team who work with the clinical team to care for our patients. We also have a social prescriber and a team of volunteer social prescribers supporting the team and our patients. Parkbury House Surgery is a training practice. We train registrars, medical students, trainee nurses, trainee physician associates and pre-reg clinical pharmacists in the practice.
