As our Pre-Assessment Department Lead you will;

  • Be responsible for a team of 5-6 nursing staff
  • Ensure high quality Pre-Assessment standards are implemented and maintained
  • Be a team player and ensure collaborative work relationships with all other departments
  • Be a strong patient advocate and ensure patient safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Act as role model for the team and demonstrate a strong work ethic

To succeed as the Pre-Assessment Lead, you will;

  • Have a strong acute clinical background
  • Be organized and able to work well with people
  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Have experience within a clinical leadership position

Key information about the role

This role plays a vital role in linking all the elements of planned patient care together.

This person will lead the multi-disciplinary team platform, which ensures effective care planning for more complex surgery.

Along with the critical care lead ensure the clinical admission criteria policy is adhered to and updated as required.

The role will demand a high level of critical thinking skills to ensure new processes are established to improve service delivery across the pre-assessment department

Salary - upto 40k dependent on skills and experience
