We have several exciting opportunities, for critical care Staff Nurses and Senior Staff Nurses to join our team in opening a brand-new hospital in London, Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital, opening in the autumn of 2021. We are looking for critical care nurses who are experienced in, or who are interested in developing their skill set to look after our cardiac critical care patients, levels 2 and 3, in our state of the art 7 bed Intensive Care Unit.
In autumn 2021, we'll open the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This will be our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services.
The new hospital will consist of:
48 inpatient and day case bedrooms
28 consultation rooms
Three digital operating theatres
Cardiac catheterisation lab
7 Specialist intensive care beds
Oncology day unit
Endoscopy and minor ops theatre
Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray
You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have experience working in a Level 2/3 Intensive Care Unit.
If you are an ambitious and driven newly qualified or experience staff nurse with an interested in Critical Care then we are looking for you. We offer training for critical care skills that will allow you to build on your confidence, clinical practice and provide evidence-based practice. Offering full time, part time and bank positions applicants will be willing to work flexibly across different shift patterns covering a seven-day service. We need caring individuals who respect their patients and colleagues, you must be able to communicate at all levels and be a strong patient advocate.
