The Disabilities Trust is currently recruiting an experienced Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to work in our well-regarded Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) Independent Hospital in Glasgow.

Are you an experienced Staff Nurse who is seeking a new challenge where you can make a difference in our Service Users lives, whilst working for a National Charity who will support and develop your skills? The Disabilities Trust is currently recruiting for an engaging and dedicated Staff Nurse to work in our team supporting Service Users in our purpose built development at Eastfields in Glasgow. Eastfields is an eight bed supported living development, with a highly staffed and experienced team, designed to provide accommodation for individuals who require specialist rehabilitation and support. This position is ideal for a candidate who enjoys seeing the growth of our Service Users with your help.

The Role:

As a Staff Nurse, you will work as part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team as part of a Neurobehavioural Rehabilitation Service for people with acquired brain injury.

Meeting complex needs across inpatient, transitional living units and outpatient settings, the post holder will develop neuropsychological and rehabilitation expertise and will have scope for service development.

You will work alongside support workers, psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychiatrist and social worker where an interdisciplinary approach is key to service delivery for service users and their families.

Candidate Criteria:

RMN/RNLD experience is required but additional training in relation to the neurobehavioural model will be provided however, a flexible approach and willingness to learn are essential.

Hours: 34.5 hours per week. We are looking for both day and night staff nurses.
