There's free parking onsite, and you'll be supported by an experienced and multi-disciplinary team. The Theatre is open between 8am & 8pm Monday to Friday with some Saturday working when required.

As a Theatre Practitioner Nurse / ODP you will;

  • Work closely with leading consultants and other like-minded professionals, who will respect and value what you bring to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Enjoy opportunities to work on a varied caseload using technology, equipment and facilities.
  • Supervise, support and develop student, junior members of staff and students.
  • Deliver a high quality care and experience for our patients. A service which is always clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate.
  • As part of the wider hospital team you will interact with colleagues on the ward because you understand that continuity in patient care is key.

What are we looking for in a Theatre Practitioner Nurse / ODP? You will have;

  • Qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.
  • Post-registration experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and will be a great team worker. You will also be flexible and motivated.

About us

Here at Nuffield Health Bournemouth Theatre Department, we work efficiently and effectively; this is all down to the people within it. We are a close team with a positive drive and a strong team ethos.

We have 3 busy theatres, endoscopy and the cardiac catheter lab. Working across all 3 areas offers variation to the role. We cover a wide range of specialities including robotic joint replacement. We are currently working in collaboration with Bournemouth University Orthopaedic Research Institute along with Stryker Orthopaedics to deliver some exciting research in the area of robotic hip arthroplasty.

Informal visits are welcomed.
