Our award-winning care company is recruiting enthusiastic full time, part time and bank nurses for our care home Abbotsford House, Bearsden. This is a fantastic opportunity and an exciting time to join our growing successful team.
Competitive salary from £31,800 to £35,000 depending on experience
36 hours per week

Main Responsibilities/Job Role
- You will be working in a family run boutique Nursing Home set in beautiful mature gardens
- You will be joining a committed loyal core staff
- The company has an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care
- You will lead, mentor and motivate a team of senior carers and care assistants to ensure the residents physical, social and psychological needs are assessed and met
- You will delegate safely and effectively
- As a team leader you will promote professionalism and share best practice to encourage continuous improvement
- You will promote person centered care ensuring residents maintain dignity, choice and independence
- You will be committed to the NMC code of conduct
- You will assess the residents to develop, implement and evaluate their care plans. You will keep accurate records and conduct handovers.
- You will have autonomy within the remit of your role but also support from the Manager and company directors
- You will employ knowledge of clinical tools such as The Waterlow Score to monitor and improve the health of residents
- The company will provide opportunities for your continued professional development to ensure you are up to date with current clinical frameworks and guidelines
- As part of the day-to-day routine you will dispense and administer medicines as per the NMC code of conduct and our company’s policies
- There will be situations for you to provide training to other team members
- Your good communication and listening skills will promote excellent relationships with residents and their families

- NMC registration
- Basic IT skills (specific training on our software will be provided at induction)
