Job Details
We are looking for Nurse Practitioners, Paramedic Practitioners or other suitably qualified allied health professionals to work with our friendly and supportive team at Faversham Medical Practice and Urgent Treatment Centre.
An independent prescribing qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
This position requires working some Bank Holidays, weekends, evenings and other cover when needed as our Urgent Treatment Centre is open 7 days a week 8am to 8pm.
We are looking for Part Time or Full Time applicants. We would also consider Job Share applications. The core hours we are looking to cover are as follows
Week 1
Monday 8.00am to 8.00pm
Tuesday 8.00am to 8.00pm
Week 2
Tuesday 8.00am to 8.00pm
Saturday 8.00am to 8.00pm
Other hours are also available.
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check including checks against the barred list will be carried out as part of our recruitment procedures and also regularly during employment. The responsibility for payment of this lies with the Practice.
It is a requirement that safeguarding training will remain up to date and the safeguarding policies and procedures in place within the Practice will be adhered to during employment.
Checks will be carried out for those who have lived or worked outside of the UK for more than 3 months in the last 5 years.

We give a premium of £3,000 gross per annum to FTE UCPs that have successfully passed the prescribing qualification and have become independent prescribers, payable over 12 months. This is pro-rata for part-time UCPs.
