Who do we need?

We’re looking for senior clinical staff who are either interested in making their next career move or are experienced in clinical leadership and ready for an exciting new opportunity in New Zealand. For all our roles you’ll need proven leadership skills, a Bachelor of Nursing, and at least five years’ postgraduate experience relevant to working with older people. You’ll also have strong familiarity working within a person-centred care model with older people and ideally in dementia and palliative care.

You’ll also need to have a current Annual Practicing Certificate from the Nursing Council of New Zealand or registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with an Annual Practising Certificate pending.

We’re looking for:

Senior Registered Nurses – you’ll bring your nursing expertise to a team that’s dedicated to providing outstanding person-centred care and create a wonderful lifestyle for Summerset’s Care Centre residents.

Memory Care (Dementia) Leads – working as part of the facility leadership team in partnership with the Care Centre Manager and collaboratively with the Clinical Nurse Leader and Diversional Therapists, you’ll ensure that the residents in our cutting-edge, architecturally-designed Memory Care Suites have bespoke, person-centred care plans and activities to deliver best-of-life outcomes.

Clinical Nurse Leaders – working in partnership with the Care Centre Manager, you’ll put in place care systems, processes and approaches to practice, and monitor them to ensure that our residents’ care and clinical needs are continuously met.

Care Centre Managers – you’ll lead the team in our Care Centres, making sure that our teams have the clinical support and resources they need to deliver the quality of care Summerset has become known for as an industry leader in NZ.

Regional Quality Managers – you’ll work across several Care Centres and collaborate with the Village and Care Centre Managers to ensure our villages provide a leading model of care, with quality systems and a focus on continuous improvement.
