What kind of nurse do you really want to be? A long-term supporter. An expert advisor. A listener. A valued professional with continuous opportunities for training, skills development and career growth. Join LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare and you can be all these things and more.

About the opportunity
Part of McKesson, a leading healthcare company, we work in close partnership with the NHS and pharmaceutical companies to provide a huge range of care services to more than 80,000 patients in the comfort of their own home, at their place of work or in the community. You will be working at the forefront of these services in one of our newest Oncology clinic providing oncology patients with a range of treatments such as seeing patients for bloods, toxicity assessments, IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections and more.

The focus is on clinical excellence, so we’ll give you all the support and flexibility you need to spend quality time with your patients and provide them with the best kind of 1-2-1 care. This includes working in partnership with other cancer organisations to ensure patients receive the very best experience we can offer. ,You will remain very much part of a wider nursing team, enjoying regular contact with managers and colleagues. We’ll also make sure you remain at the cutting edge of your profession, gaining exposure to new technologies and therapies, and helping to develop care models that break the mould.

About you
You have to be well-organised to succeed in this role, as you will be responsible for managing your own workload and itinerary as well as for providing 1-2-1 care. When not in the clinic you will be out seeing patients in their own home so a full UK driving licence is essential. Other must-haves include a valid NMC PIN and experience administering systemic anti-cancer therapy (including cannulation and venepuncture competency and experience of administering all routes of anti-cancer therapy) along with basic IT skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.

In return, we offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including a fully expensed company car (role dependant), private healthcare, personal pension plan, life assurance and a flexible schedule that does not involve any evening work.
