As Head of our Transforming Care business unit, this is a unique and exciting opportunity to really make your mark, leading our services to be well managed, efficient and safe with brilliant outcomes for our customers. You’ll drive service excellence through our Regional Transforming Care Manager and front-line operational teams who are supporting our customers. Our customer group within this business unit have a wide range of complex and interconnected needs including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, personality disorder or complex physical health issues. 

As senior leader, you’ll ensure that our clinical and support practices are delivered in line with our Living Independently Feeling Enabled (LIFE) support practice model, enabling our customers to live happy and fulfilling lives. You’ll ensure the maintenance of CQC regulation within our services, complex care delivery and that performance is in line with business plan, regulatory and quality standards. Through your passion and intuitively collaborative approach, you’ll maintain good commissioner relationships and enable our Transforming Care services to continue to grow as expected with brilliant outcomes for our customers.  

You’ll be working for Nic, our Director of Clinical Practice whose passion is getting out in the country for walks with her daughter and bouncy black Labrador and small but powerful Cavapoo. She has amazing vision for developing the future of new models of care and clinical practice at Home Group and is looking for new skills and colleagues to join her and the team on this journey.

A bit about you

With a proven background in leading and managing a similar complex service and diverse teams, you’ll have worked within a health or social care setting, leading front-line operational teams to deliver brilliant customer outcomes. You’ll have a clinical qualification/registration in Nursing or Allied Health, as well as a relevant master’s degree or equivalent.   

You’ll really impress us with your ability to effectively manage operational teams across multiple locations, financial and operational budget management as well as presenting to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, driving continuous improvements and innovation. You’ll also have a win-win mentality in managing a broad portfolio and be able to unleash the potential of others, making it a great place to work for our colleagues.

The role will involve regular national travel so you must be willing to travel and work from our different services and offices. We have services in Kent, Swindon, Birmingham, St Albans and Leeds with plans to grow significantly over the coming year. We’ll need you have a current driving licence and access to a car. Don’t worry, we’ll pay you expenses to cover this use!

An Enhanced Disclosure Check will be required for this role. The great news is that we'll pay for this to be done if you don't have a transferable one.
