Full time- 37.5 hours per week.

About the role:

The Harley Street Clinic is recruiting for Anaesthetic Practitioner to join their dynamic cardiac catheter lab.  We welcome applications from both band 5 or 6 (AfC equivalent) candidates.  As the Anaesthetic Practitioner/ODP within the Cath Lab unit at The Harley Street Clinic you will be part of a multi-disciplinary Cath lab team.  Your role will require you to be have anaesthetic and sedation experience with a cardiac background being desirable. The Harley Street Clinic has a centre of excellence for Cardiac care and as such, is the number one choice of many patients and consultants.  You will take part in an on-call rota and be asked to do long days at times to accommodate the workload and demand of the cases in the cath lab. You will also be able to work within a team and independently and be able to manage difficult situations.  It will your responsibility to provide assistance in clinical/operative procedures, both anaesthetics and surgery.

Skills and experience:

  • NMC or HCPC registered
  • Anaesthetic course
  • Provide immediate post-operative care.
  • Provide initial emergency care as required
  • Take charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner ensuring patient, visitors and staff safety.
