You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and you will be able to provide clinical leadership, act as a mentor and role model and manage complex patient care. You will support individuals and teams to deliver safe, high quality and effective patient care that is responsive to the needs of our patients and their families. Along the way, you'll build strong relationships with consultants, hospital senior leaders, a wide range of healthcare professionals and, of course, patients.
Registered with the RCCP as a clinical physiologist, your specialist training includes post graduate Cardiac Physiology course, together with an impressive level of experience in a Cardiac Outpatient setting. We are looking for an individual who has an array of different Cardiac physiologist skills, who can help establish our Outpatient Cardiology service, for our brand new hospital. You will be able to competently and confidently work independently, recruit, select and then lead and manage our Outpatient team of cardiac physiologists. You will be expected to demonstrate maturity and experience consistent with the grade and position whilst undertaking the following procedures: ECGs, Holter and ambulatory blood pressure monitor fitting, Holter analysis, and assisting in exercise testing. Ideally you will able to perform Echocardiography with the ability to report independently with a BSE accreditation.
