Senior Staff Nurse – ITU/Outreach – Full Time

Location – The Princess Grace Hospital , London

Salary – Upwards of £38,000 + 9% Shift Enhancement + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

Job Overview: 

As a Senior Staff Nurse at the Princess Grace Hospital, you would act as a deputy to the sister/charge nurse. The senior staff nurse is instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are delivered. To be an advocate for the patient, working within the multidisciplinary team. Day to day smooth running of the unit working together with other clinical areas to ensure safe patient flow.

Provide effective communication between all members of the multidisciplinary team. Ensure high levels of professional behaviour are adhered to at all times. To communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder’s primary post will be within the Adult Cardiac Departments.  

Skills & Experience 

  • Registered General Nurse with NMC pin. 
  • Neuro or General ITU/HDU specific skills and experience. 
  • Motivated and forward-thinking individual with excellent communication skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills with good time management and prioritisation skills. 
  • Mentorship / ENB998 
  • Critical Care Course (60 Credit) / ENB100 essential
  • Experience in advanced respiratory ventilation, neuro, cardiothoracic, oncology would be advantageous.
