The Role

Express new ideas, take initiative and save lives. Others talk about being brave, at IC24, we’re made that way.

From providing high quality integrated urgent care to over six million people, to thinking of innovative solutions for our patients – every role at IC24 is made to be brave.

Can you care without judgement? As a Registered General Nurse (RGN) at IC24, you’ll provide primary and urgent care to patients within a prison cluster on the Isle of Sheppey, particularly in areas of triage. The cluster consists of 3 prisons that cater for un-sentenced, sentenced prisoners and prisoners who are working out in the community, carrying out reparative work or engaging in paid employment towards the end of their sentence. This role requires high levels of energy and motivation as well as the ability to prioritise. There’s also a real opportunity to support patients over a period of time and build relationships. Full onsite support is given to all colleagues.

Here, you’ll have tons of autonomy and vast development opportunities, and work in a challenging yet extremely rewarding environment where no two days at the same.

If you feel you are up to the challenge, please apply today or if you would like the opportunity to have a tour of the workplace please click on the apply button below for further information.

You will be asked to work from HMP Standford Hill, HMP Elmley and HMP Swaleside; all situated within a 1 mile radius of each other.
