Ward Manager – Spire Clare Park Hospital

Spire Clare Park Hospital have an exciting opportunity for an established Ward Manager to join and lead our dynamic team. This is a permanent position and is well suited for an individual who is looking for a step up into a managerial position aiming provide leadership, management and support to a well-established ward team and pursue a challenging and rewarding career.

Spire Clare Park is a leading provider of private hospital treatments for our patients in Surrey. We’re dedicated to providing quality treatment and aftercare. This means ongoing investment in our facilities and introducing new services. Our hospital is situated in Farnham and we have recently been rated as Good by the CQC. We offer a range of surgical specialties which includes; Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetic, Urology, Dermatology and ENT.

About the role:

The Ward Manager will manage the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of planned care for patients, whilst managing more than one clinical team, in a safe and caring environment, in the most efficient and clinically effective way, whilst maintaining the patient’s privacy and dignity. The Ward Manager will provide excellent clinical and managerial leadership and appropriate advice and support to other staff in the department as well as supporting the Head of Clinical Services in the overall management of the healthcare environment.

About you:

• Be NMC registered - your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
• Have a minimum of 2 year’s experience at band 6 ward sister level with ward leadership skills
• Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
• ·trong communication skills
