About the role:
They are seeking a Deputy Senior College Nurse on a fixed term basis to work as part of a team of seven nurses and four healthcare assistants who assist in promoting health and wellbeing and providing the highest possible standard of medical and pastoral care for their students. The post holder will work closely with the Senior College Nurse in order to provide structured and seamless management of the medical team and the provision of medical services within the College. The Deputy Senior College Nurse (maternity cover) will deputise for the Senior College Nurse in her absence, ensuring that the Medical Centre is staffed and managed safely at all times.
About you:
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to relate to and care for young people of all nationalities and religions and experience of managing a team. A full clean driving licence is essential, along with a recognised nursing qualification and current registration on sub part 1 or 2 with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. Working hours will be an average of 32 per week on a rota basis including evenings, working 49.5 weeks per annum.
