We are expanding our Emergency Department team and invite you to come and work at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. We are actively recruiting people of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience.

About the role:

We are recruiting for following nursing roles in our Emergency Department:

  • Emergency Nurse Practitioner - ED / Urgent Treatment Centre, Band 7
  • Staff Nurse - Emergency Department, Band 5
  • Paediatric Staff Nurse - Emergency Department, Band 5

Our Emergency Department covers a catchment area of approximately 500,000 people and last year had approximately 72,000 attendances. We are continuously striving to provide high quality patient care and believe in the fact that all patients should receive the right care by the right person with the right skills the first time. This is evidenced by our patient feedback. We have a strong commitment to developing our staff with our daily teaching programme and senior nurse mentorship.

We are constantly review roles and clinical scope within the emergency care environment and are just about to launch 'the Emergency Department Big Room', which is a quality improvement initiative following the Sheffield FLOW methodology so that all staff can be actively involved in quality improvements.
