About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to join our gynaecology team looking after gynaecological patients in the outpatient services across ABUHB in clinics at the  Nevill Hall Hospital, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, Ysbyty Anuerin Bevan and County Hospital, Pantaeg. The post holder will focus on service users undergoing Gynaecological investigations, surgery and treatments. This will provide an excellent foundation in this speciality for the interested individuals either at the beginning of their career journey or someone looking for career development.

About you:

You need to have an interest in women's health, have excellent communication skills and work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Some experience of working within a gynaecology setting would be an advantage, though this is not essential as full training and support will be provided.

 

The service aims to provide a high standard of care and is committed to continual service improvement within the specialty.

The Service has recently opened an Ambulatory Unit that will provide successful candidates with an opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge by spending time on the unit supporting clinical sessions undertaking diagnostic and treatment procedures and pessary clinics.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
