We are seeking a clinical professional looking for an exciting new challenge as a Clinical Portfolio Lead. As a clinical professional, you will use your clinical knowledge and expertise to maintain and improve the performance of our clinical contract portfolio, by supporting sourcing colleagues in establishing clinical categories, assessing the complexity of clinical conversions through cross referencing and working alongside customers / suppliers to drive value.

Key Duties Include:

• Working alongside Sourcing Teams to provide clinical expertise on clinical categories and providing support in determining appropriate sourcing strategies based on complexity of the categories

• Collaborating with sourcing leads on development of the sourcing strategy as the contract bid cycle begins

• Working with analytics colleagues to categorise member data and establish contracting categories to inform the Item Master

• Preparing ‘cross reference’ data templates to be included within RFI & RFP / SQ & ITT templates

• Reviewing and finalising returned cross reference templates • Working with colleagues to prepare value propositions for members

• Building and maintaining business relationships with suppliers by working together to obtain cross references for items that do not currently have an equivalency and/or correct discrepancies as identified

• Portfolio Management -manages, maintains and improves the performance of the contract portfolio, both operationally and financially and communicates contract portfolio benefits and value to a variety of audiences

• Customer & Supplier Relationship Management – managing and maintaining supplier relationships

• Proactively monitoring and reporting on contract compliance issues and assisting Account Directors with conversations that may be required with members

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Clinical education/experience required

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to create or interpret potentially complex financial models

• Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products, proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Excellent oral, written communication skills and presentation skills • Proficiency in teamwork/collaboration

• Ability to align internal and external resources to achieve objectives

• Demonstrates consistently good attention to detail • Works effectively as part of a team

• Understands and interprets complex instructions, proposals, and contract language

• Listens and separates ancillary information from the primary content being communicated,

• Ask appropriate questions to clarify and confirm understanding
