About Reframe:

Reframe is a new kind of digital health company that is transforming the way individuals experience healthcare in the UK. We deliver proactive, individualised and ongoing support, offering peace of mind to more than 800,000 people. Founded in 2012 to support people impacted by cancer, our innovative approach combines technology, data and outstanding service to care for people on their own terms.

Some of us have roots in the NHS, some come from private medical providers. Collectively, we’re passionate about reducing the ripple effect of cancer on individuals and their loved ones. We support individuals in the moments that matter, whenever they matter, so they don’t have to feel alone on their cancer journey. We are wholly invested in delivering better outcomes from cancer for people and business.

Opportunity:

As a member of our Client Support Team, the Cancer Nurse Specialist will provide clinical, emotional and practical support to our clients who are people diagnosed with cancer or caring for people diagnosed with cancer, usually remotely via telephone, chat and other channels. A Cancer Nurse Specialist uses their knowledge and experience to build long term, trusted relationships, and help clients to manage their cancer journey, aiming to alleviate any concerns they may have. As a clinical advocate, they may attend consultations or treatments, debrief clients after consultation to provide clarity on what has been discussed; review and collate medical notes so everything is ready at the time it is needed; providing support and information as clients receive diagnoses and help them understand the treatment options available.

Our Team works together flexibly to meet the needs of the service, and manage the unpredictable patterns of work that fluctuate from quick responses to intense concentration when exposed to distressing and emotional circumstances.

As well as supporting clients, our Cancer Nurse Specialists play an important role in identifying opportunities to improve our own services, and have the opportunity to work with our commercial teams by representing the business to external partners and sharing details of how they are able to support and bring real value to clients.

The Client Support Team is friendly, warm and down to earth, providing a support community when people need it most. We empower people with information, advice and new ideas, clarifying their options or giving them the confidence to move forward and meet their goals. We recognise that a diagnosis or caring for a loved one affects everyone differently.
