An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated nurse to work at Imperial College Healthcare Renal and Transplant Centre (ICHRTC).
The Imperial College Healthcare Renal and Transplant Centre (ICHRTC), opened at the Hammersmith Hospital in November 2005 and has become the largest facility of its kind in Europe. We have 4 inpatient wards totalling 65 beds and a programmed investigation unit offering a ward attender/day case service of 18 beds. The service also has an acute haemodialysis unit, 8 satellite dialysis units, peritoneal dialysis and home haemodialysis teams; nurse led chronic kidney disease team, Live Donor Team, a rapid assessment unit and 2 outpatient clinics looking after over 3,100 patients on renal replacement therapy.
You will be working on our enhanced care ward, alongside our inspiring multidisciplinary team. When joining one of the largest transplant centres in the UK you get to become part of a team at the cutting edge of organ transplantation that is literally transforming lives. With our own emergency admission pathway you will be at the forefront of delivering acute medical/surgical care. We will support you to develop knowledge, skills and clinical expertise in advanced assessment and management skills of highly complex acutely unwell patients that will provide a strong foundation to your nursing career. There is a dedicated Renal Education team to help provide you with the education and clinical support you require.
