A crucial part in achieving this promise is the future development and investment of the Paediatric Critical Care Unit based at the Royal London Hospital.

The Paediatric Critical Care Outreach Team is an indispensable part of the Children’s service and strategy, by being a key player in identifying, prioritising and ensuring that all children receive the care that they need when they need it.

We are looking to recruit a Paediatric Outreach Nurse to join our team of individuals who thrive in working in a dynamic environment. You need to have a strong ability for multidisciplinary working, excellent leadership qualities, as well as the organisational and communication skills to contribute to the future development of the service.

The role will allow you to develop your managerial responsibilities as well as provide clinical care, support junior staff and influence the future of Paediatric Critical Care services at Bartshealth

You will be required to have Paediatric registration, a PICU/ A and E (or equivalent) course, mentorship/teaching and assessing modules and show commitment to other relevant specialty training. You will have at least three years post registration experience, of which two years will have been spent in PICU or A and E, following successful completion of your course.
