Job Details

We are pleased to be able to advertise the above Band 6 posts in the South Worcester Home Treatment Team.

We work with people who are in an acute episode of a mental illness, providing intensive treatment and support in their own home, to avoid the need for hospital admission.

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate the ability to work alongside patients finding innovative ways to engage people in life and recovery.  Positive risk management is vital to the provision of Home Treatment.  Working collaboratively with immediate colleagues, other teams and agencies is also an essential part of this role.

You will need to be a team player and able to work independently.  You will be joining a skilled and experienced group of staff, which will give you opportunities to learn through joint working and more formal learning opportunities. Regular supervision and appraisal will be provided.

There is scope for professional development as the trust has a repertoire of training available to those wishing to extend their skill set.  Developing our workforce is important to us, and we are pioneering champion roles across the organisation.

As a member of the Home Treatment Team and an employee of our Trust you will benefit from;

  • Working within a supportive and valued team of Mental Health professionals
  • Regular supervision and robust appraisals
  • Preceptorship for Newly Qualified Staff
  • Learning forums
  • Continuous Professional Development and training opportunities

  • Access to LGBT, BAME, Disability and Carers Forums
  • Wellbeing and support programmes
  • A wide range of NHS discounts
  • Weekly virtual team catch up’s
  • Monthly team training days

If you are passionate, self-motivated and driven and looking to be part of an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of Worcestershire Home Treatment Service in Worcestershire then we would welcome your application and look forward to hearing from you.

Use of a car for work (due to the rural geography of Worcestershire) and ability to work shifts are essential to this post.
