We have truly fantastic, permanent opportunities to join our award winning business in a brand new job role, as a Peripatetic (Regional) Nurse. You will be suitably experienced and qualified, and motivated to support multiple sites within a flexible radius of your home location (mileage will be paid).
Whether you have a qualification in General Nursing, Mental Health Nursing or Learning Disability Nursing we have a diverse set of services and would be delighted to speak with candidates from any background.
We have full time and part time posts, with dayshift and nightshift available. Flexible bank contracts are also on offer.
Our shift patterns are typically 8am-8pm / 8pm-8am.
Our core values are integral to how we operate, and that starts with recruitment. So before you apply, ask yourself:
- Are you someone who is seen as a trusted colleague?
- Do you always ensure you are responsive to the needs of others?
- Do you have the potential to be an inspiring influence to colleagues and residents alike?
- Are you keen to work within Care and passionate about making a difference to the lives of others?
You will oversee and maintain the care of Residents within a designated area of the home and, in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager, take responsibility for providing a level of support toward the day to day running of the Home. You will be required to delegate tasks and monitor staff members’ activity.
You will confidently and efficiently carry out all nursing procedures, maintaining and improving professional knowledge and competence and ensuring you are up to date in all areas of clinical expertise.
An important part of the role is the need to display leadership qualities including participating in Staff Induction & Training programmes as and when required, as well as supervising and instructing junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the Care Home, giving help and guidance where appropriate
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
You must be a qualified registered nurse (with a minimum of 2 years post-graduating experience) and posses the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
A real team player, you will have a genuine interest in working with the relevant resident group and ideally have some experience of doing so already.
We offer permanent, secure roles with scope to develop and swiftly progress within the organisation. Salaries are very competitive and we have an excellent range of staff benefits including shopping and holiday discounts, free health and legal advice, and access to free counselling services.
We also offer £2,000 'Golden Hello'* joining incentive (for nursing posts)
We can potentially offer sponsorship for Nurses based on Undefined CoS (those nurses currently in the UK and requiring sponsorship) - please get in touch to discuss.
