Pearson VUE (www.pearsonvue.co.uk) is the global leader in computer-based testing and we are looking for Subject Matter Experts to write and review questions for use in an online Registered General Nurse exam.

You can be based in any country and work independently from home at times convenient for you. Access to a computer and the internet is essential, as this is how you will submit your questions and review questions written by others. Online training will be provided on the systems, tools and process to be used.

We will supply the content areas, relevant reference material and training and you will ensure that all questions and material written for tests are of a high quality, are technically correct and have suitable reference material.

Our client is an examination provider based in the Middle East who is currently creating a licensure exam for qualified Registered General Nurses. Candidates of the Registered Nurse exam are required to pass the exam before they can start practising in the region, and therefore it is essential that you are confident in writing and reviewing content accurately with excellent attention to detail.

Our preferred candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Registered General Nurse in the Middle East, USA or UK. You will be flexible and able to meet deadlines. Experience of writing items or test material is not essential but highly desirable.

Each project is estimated to last approximately 12 weeks.

Writing
You will be provided with a list of subject areas that we require test questions for and the number of questions needed is 80 questions (to be submitted in weekly batches of 15-20 questions per week). You will be asked to write multiple choice questions related to those subject areas in accordance with the style guide. The questions must be original material and not copied from any other source. Each question must contain a suitable reference from the reference material provided.

You will be paid for each question that is accepted.

Reviewing
You will be provided with approximately 110 questions to review for technical correctness (confirming that the answer is correct and that all other options are incorrect). You will be expected to read each question, correct any problems and approve or reject the question. You will ensure reference material is correctly listed and provide feedback on the quality, accuracy and difficulty level of the test content.

You will be paid for each question you review.
