As Operations Manager your role is to work with a team of Associate Case Managers to ensure the delivery of a professional, knowledgeable service to our clients and customers. You must be a qualified and registered health professional. Your role will include being part of our quality assurance team ensuring that all documentation and reports that are shared are informative, concise and fit for purpose. You will also be the point of contact for the case managers when they are determining the recommendations for the client or need to discuss the running of the case.

The role of Operations Manager also has a project element: and you will be expected to lead on and manage a designated project, with the support of Head of Case Management and Rehabilitation. You will be expected to report on these projects monthly to the Head of Case Management and Rehabilitation for reporting to board level.

In addition you will be a first line contact for delegated customers; with the expectation being that you maintain contact, develop working relationships, update on key news and services on a regular basis.

Clinical Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Be a point of contact for our Associate Case Managers
• Complete case guidance meetings on a regular basis (via face to face or telephone/video technology)
• Conduct regular clinical and compliance audits to identify gaps in progression to then support and guide the associate case managers to ensure understanding, and completeness
• Attend meetings at Head Office as business need identifies. These meeting will include, but not exclusively, attendance at monthly operations meeting which run over two days, project planning days, attendance when running interviews and inductions.
• Provide regular updates and training to Associate Case Managers, customers and internal staff, visiting face to face or using telephone/video technology if necessary
• Monitor risk and safeguarding on active cases
• Maintain customer relationships through regular visits and contact, working and planning this with the Client Director
• Manage concerns or complaints arising from customers unhappy with assigned Associate Case Manager, or concerns or complaints from customers in accordance with our complaints policy
• Review and contact customers to convert enquiries into active work
• Carefully reviews documentation sent to customers for quality standards
• Conduct case guidance meetings with case managers
• Participate in Company regional meetings and conferences
• Take the lead recruiting Associate Case Managers to join our panel of associates
• Support in the transition of Associates in the role of Case Manager
• Take the lead of specific projects as directed by the Head of Case Management and Rehabilitation

Clinical Operations Manager Requirements:

Essential

• Current clinical registration and registered with NMC or HCPC
• Significant and proven post graduate experience (min 7 years)
• Experience of post graduate community experience
• Experienced people manage, minimum of 4 years experience with excellent leaderships skills
• Proficient computer skills to work with Bush & Co case management and support systems
• A caring and empathetic individual
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel across the UK

Desirable

• Knowledge of Case Management and litigation
• Experience of working as a Case Manager
• Experience of writing case reports
