School Nurse
We are seeking a School Nurse on a permanent basis to join the Medical Centre team in the provision of a high quality pastoral service to our pupils. This is an exciting time to join the School, as we have recently amalgamated with a prep school and have become co-educational this academic year.
The School Nurse will support the Lead Nurse in providing medical care for pupils who are unwell, treating and dealing with accidents and emergencies within the School, health promotion and support for ongoing medical and mental health issues.
The successful candidate will be a RGN registered Nurse with A&E, Minor Injury Assessment or Primary Care Experience with paediatric experience being desirable. We are seeking someone who also has an interest in mental health support and to participate as the School seeks to review and develop its pupil counselling provision. The post holder will be required to be part of a rota to attend Saturday sports fixtures.
Salary: c£39,000 pa FTE (c£30,000 pa pro rata salary for working hours below), depending on skills and experience.
This is a full time (40 hours/week), term-time plus two weeks (36 weeks pa) position.
