Job Details
School Nurse – Faringdon, Oxford
Jan start – competitive salary
Our client is a preparatory school near Faringdon in Oxfordshire. The school is co-educational, day and boarding, offering both weekly and flexi-boarding, and has 350 pupils aged 3 to 13 years.
An exciting opportunity for a caring, friendly nurse who is also a team player to join their Medical Centre Team. You will be providing cover during term times Monday to Friday with occasional weekends and evenings and joining a collaborative and hard-working team.
This role would suit a candidate who is confident in working autonomously and who enjoys working with children and the school community. Ideally, you would have experience working in schools, A&E or may have held a position as a practice nurse. It would be useful to be a qualified first aid instructor or willing to become one. The candidate should be proficient in first aid, have a knowledge of the NMC code, and experience of using IT systems, particularly ISAMS.
They offer excellent staff benefits including a competitive salary on our own salary scale with scope for progression, generous pension scheme, on site catering and an outstanding working environment in our beautiful estate with easy access to transport links, while being part of our vibrant and supportive community.
