Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen with the ABUHB Out of Hours team, in the form of a Overnight Clinical Assessor. This novel post is designed to ensure patient safety 24/7. The shifts available are weekends, between the hours of Midnight and 8am. The main resposibilites of the role are:
- Work closely with (non-Clinical) Shift leads
- Demand” management of the calls via 111 and the professional line
- Coordinate alongside the GPs to coordianate the clinical responses
- Longer Telephone consultations as appropriate (i.e. Mental health) but delegate where staffing exits i.e. triage GP, twilight GP. etc in order to best meet the patient needs.
- Co-ordinate staff management esp. in relation to Home visits and local geographical knowledge and patient safety/urgent needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
