We have an opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse - Orthopaedics to develop the day case Arthroplasty Programme which is being introduced at BMI Harbour Hospital.
This is a Full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. This will be day time only and can be part time
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Registered general nurse level 1/ Diploma / BSc in Nursing studies.
- Excellent clinical applied knowledge which is evidenced based and takes account of national best practice standards.
- Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems
- 18 months post registration experience.
Duties of this role include:
- Working closely with named consultants, therapy, nursing, and pharmacy team to plan, deliver, evaluation and develop the day case arthroplasty pathway To
- To ensure enhanced standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times
- To ensure the provision of individualised patient care, providing excellent standards
- Support, teach, train and coach staff to support the delivery of enhanced care and recovery
