An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, experienced and forward-thinking Band 7 Senior Practitioner to lead our Recovery Team. You will be joining our friendly and supportive Senior Theatre Team, who pride themselves on providing an excellent standard of care for our patients.
Working closely with our pain management team you will be key in ensuring that our patients are cared for compassionately and meet all aspects of our recovery discharge criteria. The post holder will be a Recovery Team Leader with recent experience in this specific area.
You will be instrumental in liaising with other members of the theatre department, including new starters and training co-ordinators to enable your team to meet their full potential. We place a strong emphasis on personal and professional development and will give you opportunities to develop your skills further.
We have an excellent safety culture and are proud of our Recovery Team. We have 15 theatres across three theatre suites, Main Elective Suite (MES), Elective Trauma Suite (ETS) and Obs and Gynae, in the Princess Anne Wing (PAW)
To succeed in this role you will need up to date and extensive experience in an acute healthcare recovery setting. We welcome applications from those who would like to apply for a part time working / job share position.
