Endoscopy Lead Practitioner - Exeter - Part-Time

Nuffield Health is Britain's largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation. Join us as an Endoscopy Lead in our Exeter Hospital and play your part in building a healthier nation.


The Opportunity

Our Endoscopy room has the latest equipment and an opportunity has arisen for an endoscopy lead to help expand and drive the service, as well as work closely with management and Consultants to apply for and obtain JAG accreditation.

As our Endoscopy Lead you will;

  • Lead the endoscopy service within the hospital
  • Ensure safety within the service including writing and reviewing standard operating procedures
  • Supervise and train junior staff
  • Join endoscopy lead calls, sharing expertise and knowledge
  • Work closely with management and Consultants to drive and expand the service
  • Work towards JAG accreditation


The Person

To succeed as an Endoscopy Lead you will need;

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in endoscopy, at least one year being in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of the JAG accreditation process
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of care
  • Ability to guide and supervise junior staff

Salary - Up to £35,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)
