Spire Dunedin Hospital are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Staff Nurse with team leading experience to join our team as a Deputy Outpatients Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate managerial and leadership skills and have experience working within an Outpatients setting. There is an opportunity to become OPD manager in the near future.

Spire Dunedin is an elective hospital situated in Farnham that has recently been rated as good by the CQC. We offer a range of surgical specialties which includes Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetics, Urology, Dermatology and ENT.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist the Outpatient Manager in the running of the nursing team supervising and troubleshooting where necessary.
  • Assist in the operational delivery of outpatient services and ensuring the efficient running of the department, this will include clinical and administrative work in the department.
  • Phlebotomy trained or willing to learn
  • Take charge of Hospital Point of Care Service

.Who we're looking for

  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration
  • Minimum of 2 years outpatients experience
  • Some managerial experience and leadership skills essential
  • Enthusiastic and energetic professional
