Founded in 1969, Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital was originally built from funds raised by the local community and is now one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire. The Hospital has a strong local reputation with patients remaining loyal. The Hospital had a £4.5 million refurbishment in 2011 and was the blue print for the wider Hospitals refresh programme.

The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, Endoscopy Suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services. The Role

• Combine a passion for delivering excellent patient care, with the ability to manage varied and interesting caseloads.

• Reassure and encourage patients while also having the clinical skills to take part in procedures and recovery.

• Have exposure to a wide range of procedures, requiring all your skills and experience.

• Fully understand each case from a technical and personal viewpoint.

• Instinctively meet patient's needs, giving them and their families the comfort and reassurance they need when they are at their most vulnerable.

• Interact with practitioners from other areas because you understand the importance of continuity in patient care.

The Person

To succeed as a Staff Nurse in our Outpatients department you will;

• Be registered with the appropriate governing body. You will have the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration including NMC.

• Have post-registration experience.

• Be an excellent communicator and team worker. You will also be flexible and motivated.
