Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital is a stunning 47 bedded private hospital in West Hampshire with specialisms in Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Women's Health and Spinal surgery.
The hospital also benefits from having onsite Radiology, Pathology, Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy so we can give our patients a complete package of care. There are 16 consulting rooms with speciality outpatient rooms, 47 private patient bedrooms with en-suite facilities , 24 hr resident doctor on site (RMO) and four operating theatres and one endoscopy suite.
The Role
In our Outpatients department as an Ophthalmology Specialist Nurse you will;
- Be responsible for giving advice to post-operative ophthalmology patients.
- Carry out Ophthalmology diagnostics.
- Assist Consultants with minor procedures.
- Support with Ophthalmic treatments.
- Manage and assist in laser vision correction surgery.
The Person
To succeed as an Ophthalmology Specialist Nurse you will have;
- An interest in working in Outpatients
- Registration with appropriate body
- A range of skills within eye specialty.
